Central ac unit installation cost — Fort Myers, FL

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

When you are looking at the price of a new HVAC system, several variables come into play. The total depends heavily on the square footage of your home, the existing ductwork condition, and the efficiency rating of the unit you choose. Opting for advanced features like smart thermostats or high-performance air filtration will also shift the final number. If we need to modify your home’s electrical setup or gas lines to accommodate the new equipment, that adds to the labor requirements.

About this service

A central air system requires careful integration with your current air handler and ventilation. The cost is driven by the SEER2 rating, the complexity of the refrigerant lines, and the labor hours required to ensure a sealed, leak-free connection. Because every layout is different, we perform a site inspection to provide an accurate estimate, with exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

When summer heat hits, your HVAC system works its hardest. If you are dealing with an aging unit or frequent breakdowns, a new installation can significantly lower your energy bills while improving indoor air quality. We move fast to get your cooling system running, ensuring you stay comfortable even when temperatures climb outside. Call us today to discuss your cooling needs.
